Obituary of Rose Nicoletti
Stratford Resident
Nicoletti Rose Catalano Nicoletti, age 90, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Victor A. Nicoletti, died on Friday, March 16, 2007 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Naples, Italy on May 1, 1916, Rose was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Adeline Catalano. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Tina DiMenna and her grandson, Robert Zanvettor. Survivors include her three daughters, Adeline DiMatteo and her husband Anthony of Huntington, Gloria Zanvettor and her husband Robert of Stratford, and Alberta Caruso and her husband Anthony of Stratford, her son in law, John DiMenna of Stratford, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Rose was a full time homemaker devoted to her family. She was kind and compassionate to all who knew her. Cooking traditional foods and celebrating holidays with her family were valued most in her life. She will be remembered for her love of children as exemplified by her generosity to orphanages in Naples as well as her culinary talents. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Queens NY. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Donations Information
