Obituary of Margaret Mary Biroschak

Margaret Mary (Kosturko) Biroschak, age 94, widow of the late Vincent Biroschak, died peacefully at home on Sunday morning, January 11, 2009. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late George and Teresa Murcko Kosturko.

She is survived by her son, Father Robert V. Biroschak, her sister and brother-in- law Teresa and James Milo, her brother Stephen Kosturko , all of Stratford, and by her brother and sister-in-law John V. and Pierrette Kosturko of Shelton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband, Vincent, she was pre-deceased by her brother George Kosturko and his wife Ann, by her sister Mary Dzurilla and her husband Joseph, and by her brother William Kosturko, who died in his youth.

Friends may offer condolences to the family at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, on Wednesday January 14, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. Friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford on Thursday, January 15, 2009 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her son Robert at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Priests wishing to concelebrate the Funeral Mass are requested to bring an alb and the Diocesan vestment or other white chasuble.

The family wishes to express its deep gratitude to Ms. Sheila Duffy, who provided Margaret with devoted and compassionate home care in her last months.
