Obituary of John G. Neto

Resident of Trumbull John G. Neto, Jr., age 84, of Trumbull, loving husband of Doris OBidinski Neto, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on October 23, 1926 in New Bedford, MA, he was a son of the late John and Perpetua Sequeira Netto. Mr. Neto was a United States Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He worked as a mechanic at Producto Machine and retired from Fairfield County News. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Mother Cabrini Council. He was a member of the Pinewood Lake Association and an avid square dancer. In addition to the love of his life, his wife Doris of 61 years, survivors include a son, David J. Neto of Middletown, a daughter, Lynn Ann (Neto) Baer and her husband William J. of Beacon Falls, five grandchildren, William J. Baer Jr. of Waterbury, Stephanie A. Baer and Jordan M. Baer, both of Beacon Falls, Daryl DAmico and Davin DAmico, both of Ansonia as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Mary Marguy. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
