Obituary of Christina Frawley

Christina Iacurci Frawley, age 85, of Shelton, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Maplewood of Orange. Born in Bridgeport on October 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Anna Verrilli Iacurci. Tina resided on the East side of Bridgeport until moving to Shelton in 1986. She graduated from Harding High School in 1944 and was married to Theodore Frawley on September 24, 1949. She was a member of the Ladies Guild at St. John Nepomucene in the 1960s and was also very active in the Kolbe High School Home School Association in the early 1970s. She was employed as a member of the office staff for the late Frank J. Riccio MD., where she worked for nearly 20 years. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Theodore Frawley and her brother, John Iacurci. Survivors include her loving son, Robert Frawley and his wife JoAnn of Shelton, a sister-in-law, Rosemary Iacurci of Trumbull; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
