Obituary of Geraldine H. Nargi

Loving and Giving Mother and Grandmother Geraldine (Gerri) Hope Colligan Nargi, age 68, of Trumbull and formerly of Bridgeport, died peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2010 in St. Vincents Medical Center with her family by her side after a brave and courageous battle with sarcoma. Born in Bridgeport on February 19, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Hope Zavatsky Colligan. She was a former employee of the Bridgeport Probate Court with over 20 years of service and retired from the State of Connecticut Superior Court where she served as a court monitor to become a full time grandma. Gerri was truly a loving and giving mother and grandmother. Affectionately known as GEGE, Gerri loved and cherished every moment spent with her daughters, sons in law and granddaughters Juliana and Sophia. Her spirit and love will always be remembered and live on with her children and grandchildren.She truly was one of the best and most caring people ever. Survivors include her devoted and beloved family, daughters Kristen Dellamarggio and Kara Giacobbe and her husband Ron, two cherished granddaughters, Juliana Domenica and Sophia Hope, all of Trumbull, former son in law Mark Dellamarggio, a sister, Barbara Zingone and her husband Marco of NY as well as several aunts,uncles, cousins and many dear friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Sandhya Dhanjal for taking good care of Gerri. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial.
