Obituary of Chester Montini

Founder of Chester Electric & Sons Inc. Chester Montini Sr., age 86, of Trumbull, died on Saturday, March 4, 2006, in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born on August 27, 1919 in Patrica, Province of Frosinone, Italy, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria Ferrari Montini. He was the founder of Chester Electric & Sons Inc., which was established in 1956. A U.S. Army veteran, he served his country faithfully for four years during WW II. He was a past member of the Italian Community Club, American Legion Post 177, and the Knights of Columbus. Chester was a Trumbull resident most of his life and was the cornerstone of his family. His family was extremely important to him, and he deeply loved them all. He left his footprints on many hearts, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Chester was pre-deceased by two brothers; William and Ennio Montini; two sisters Valeria Montini and Lucille Smith. Survivors include his devoted wife of 59 years, Evelyn Mallozzi Montini, five beloved children; two sons, Joseph Montini and his wife Jean of Stratford, Chester Montini Jr. and his wife Brenda, of Trumbull, three daughters; Evelyn Marini and her husband Richie Sr., of Stratford, Valerie Pappas , Dorrine Pappas and her husband Peter all of Trumbull. God blessed Chester with 11 cherished grandchildren, Jason Montini, Richie Marini Jr., Tina Piacentini, Erica Montini, Alicia Connery, Alexis Pappas, Chester Montini III, Nicholaus Montini, Peter Pappas III, Anthony Montini, and Vincent Pappas. Chester also enjoyed being surrounded by his five beautiful great grandchildren Paige Marie, Melani Lynn, Gianna Marie, Thomas and Charlie. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in the Calvary Evangelical Free Church, Trumbull. Interment with full military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
