Obituary of Sally T. Monaco

Past president of the Ladies of Unico Sally T. Monaco, age 95, of Bethel, died peacefully on Saturday May19, 2012. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jane Tedesco, and was a former Trumbull resident for over 60 years before moving to reside with her daughter in Bethel two years ago. Mrs. Monaco was a past president of the Ladies of Unico and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include a son, Robert Monaco of Mt. Tabor, NJ, her daughter, Nancy Monaco and her husband, Joseph Capirichio of Bethel, a granddaughter, Christina Rosica of Bethel, a brother, Louis Tedesco of Bridgeport, her two devoted Godchildren, Patty and Richard Greene and Lorraine and Butch Benedetto, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Monaco, a sister, Betty Aurilio and a brother, the Honorable Samuel Tedesco. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Gerry Boucher of Bethel for her loving care and friendship she provided. Funeral Information Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial meeting directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to Abriola Parkview Funeral Home Trumbull.
