Obituary of Luciano Franzese

Loving Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle Luciano (Louie) Franzese, age 56, of Seymour, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in Griffin Hospital with his family by his side after a long brave and courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 13, 1952, he was a son of the late Cesare and Angela Osso Franzese. Louie was the co-owner and operator of Traynor Auto Body & Collision of Milford and Fairfield. A loving husband, father, brother and uncle, he was dedicated to the care and love of his family. He was also a volunteer at the Oxford Special Olympics. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Coleen Noonan Franzese, two cherished sons, Sean Thomas and Daniel Christopher, brothers and sisters, Maria Mirafiore of Stratford, Ida Franzese and Romilda Franzese and her husband Raffaele, all of Italy, Franco Franzese and his wife Rosa, Anna (Nina) Goessinger and her husband Jim, John Franzese and his wife Mary Beth, all of Shelton, Nella Cioppa of Seymour, and Rosa Bousquet and her husband Craig of Stratford, brothers and sisters-in-law, Kathleen Glover and her husband Philip of Bridgeport, Maureen Genga and her husband Gary of Stratford, Dr. Robert Noonan and his wife Elaine of MA, Dr. Thomas Noonan and his wife Judy and Doreen Nelson and her husband Gary, all of Stratford, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his mother and father-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Robert H. Noonan and brother-in-law, Jack Noonan. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 12:00 noon directly in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 75 Derby Ave., Derby for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
