Obituary of Samuel R. Mizzoni

U. S. Navy Veteran Samuel R. Mizzoni, age 81, of Trumbull, a retired employee of the Tenex Corp., died suddenly on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Milford Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on December 19, 1925, he was a son of the late John and Assunta Toscano Mizzoni, and was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Antoinette (Toni) Franzo Mizzoni, and two sisters, Fannie Fanning and Jean Soule. Survivors include a son, Samuel J. Mizzoni and his wife Suzanne of Woodbridge, a daughter, Sandra Sobocienski and her husband Alfred of Stratford, a brother, Joseph Mizzoni of Union, NJ, four grandchildren, Alexander, Madeline, Grace and Miles and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
