Obituary of Louis S. Marseglia

U.S. Army Veteran of WWII Louis S. Marseglia, age 93, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Helen Ann Klimas Marseglia, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bristol on August 8, 1918 he was a son of the late Evangeliste and Michelina Masi Marseglia. A U.S. Army veteran of WW II, he was a retired machinist having worked at Singer Corp for 32 years, and was also a purchasing agent at AVCO and a chauffeur for Harvey Hubbell. In his younger years he was an avid photographer. In addition to his beloved wife of 59 years, Helen, survivors include a son, Louis M. Marseglia and his wife Sandi of Oxford, a daughter, Donna Ballerini and her husband Rich of Stratford, three cherished grandchildren, Brian Marseglia and his wife Maryann, Joseph Marseglia and his wife Jenn and Andrea Marseglia, a great grandson, Enzo, a brother, Guido Marseglia of Bridgeport, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dennis Marseglia and Jim Marseglia. Funeral Information All funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
