Obituary of Jean Maglio

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Jean Giullo Maglio, age 95, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday February 9, 2012, at the Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Maglio. Born in Boston, MA, on September 5, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Pasqualina Giullo. Mrs. Maglio would often attend St. Josephs ADC where she had many friends and thoroughly enjoyed the staff. She was also a master at the game of scrabble and found great pleasure in completing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Concetta Morrone and her husband Carmine of Hicksville, New York, Gloria Jenkins and her husband Raymond of North Babylon, New York, and Charles Maglio and his wife Ginny of Huntington, CT; her five grandchildren, Theresa, Jeanette, Michael, Carmine and Jennifer; and her 15 great grandchildren; She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Connie Giullo of Medford, MA and a very special niece, Phyllis Freda. Besides her husband Charles, she was also predeceased by her three brothers and two sisters, Tony, Joe, Carmine, Michelina and Etta Giullo. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Yonkers, New York. Friends and family may call on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
