Obituary of Margaret J. Madar

Resident of Stratford Margaret (Peggy) Buchino Madar, age 80, of Stratford, beloved wife of Raymond M. Madar, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home. Born in Bridgeport on September 1, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Gertrude DApice Buchino. Mrs. Madar loved line dancing, exercise, duckpin bowling and traveling. She was a member of the Ladies Guild of Holy Name of Jesus Church and she truly enjoyed her time spent with friends at the Senior Centers of Shelton, Derby, Stratford, Milford and Orange. In addition to her loving husband of 59 years, Raymond, survivors include two sons, David Madar and his wife Deborah and Richard Madar and his wife Sharon, a sister, Diane Skudlarek and Nick Farese of Monroe, two grandchildren, Nicole Madar and Michael Madar and his wife Elizabeth, two great grandchildren, Katie and Jack, a niece, Kristie Skudlarek, and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Krafcik. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and caregivers at the Infusion Center of Bridgeport Hospital. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
