Obituary of Dolores LaGaipa

Shelton Resident Dolores Pagliaroli Moody LaGaipa, age 76, of Shelton, beloved wife of Julius LaGaipa, died peacefully on Monday December 31, 2012 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born on March 3, 1936 in Tuckahoe, New York she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Madeline Ceci Pagliaroli. Dolores was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for all of her family and friends. She even had one of her recipes published in the Cooking Light Magazine. Together with her husband they enjoyed watching tennis on television. But above all she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband, Julius, survivors include five children, David Moody and his wife MaryEllen of Milford, Joseph Moody of Derby, Paul LaGaipa and his wife Sharon of Easton, Michael LaGaipa and his wife Julie Rose of Florida and Julie Granata of Monroe, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother John Pagliaroli of Milford as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her previous husband Eugene Moody and a brother Robert Pagliaroli. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 pm.
