Obituary of Dolores M. Kichinko

Dolores Mazzey Kichinko, age 83, of Bridgeport, a retired bookkeeper, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Savino Mazzey, and was a lifelong city resident. She had worked as a bookkeeper at the Schine Law Firm of Bridgeport and the Robin Hood Safety Center of Stratford. Dolores and her husband Jack were members of the Pequonnock Yacht Club for 34 years and were avid boaters. She was a member of the Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club, Bridgeport. Dolores enjoyed walking at the Trumbull Mall, bus trips to the casino and knitting and crocheting. In addition to her husband John (Jack) Kichinko, survivors include her daughter, Mary Ellen Recupero and her husband Sam Recupero Jr. of Shelton, her son, John Kichinko, Jr. of Derby, grandsons, Sammy Recupero lll and his wife Melissa of Lordship, Ryan Recupero and his wife Michele of Trumbull, granddaughters, Tiffany Recupero of Stamford, Jennifer Kichinko of San Francisco and Erika Bruneau and her husband James of West Haven, great grandchildren, Christopher Recupero, Lily Recupero, Matthew Recupero and Isabella Bruneau, brother, Michael Mazzey of Henderson , NV as well as several nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Bella Forti and Janet Rescigno and two brothers, Joseph and Gabriel Mazzey. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, February, 22, 2013 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call Thursday from 4 -8 p.m.
