Obituary of Roger D. Keller

Roger D. Keller, age 79, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Evelyn M. Bruno Keller, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport on August 21, 1932, he was the son of the late Harold and Marie Yell Keller and a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Keller was a tool and die maker retiring from PTA-Plastic Tooling Aids in Oxford after a 38 year career. He had a love for motorcycles, boats and his hobbies included building model RC airplanes. He was a Eucharistic Minister and active parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Trumbull. In addition to his devoted wife, Evelyn, he was pre-deceased by a sister, Marlyn Ahlberg. He was the beloved father of Claudia Tweedie and her husband Thomas of West Haven, Roger Keller II and his wife Jill of Huntington and Ross Keller and his wife Mary Motasky of Derby, the cherished grandfather of Malissa Tweedie, Kara Tweedie, Nicole Rivera and Reese Keller, brother of Sandra LaChioma of Milford and Donna Schuyler of NM. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends David and Jessica Karowski. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Neal Fischbach and the staff at Vitas Hospice for all their compassion and care. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
