Obituary of Louis J. Topo

Louis J. Topo, age 92, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on February 14, 1925, he was a son of the late Phillip Topo and Mary Marinaccio Topo. Louis was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII. Prior to his retirement, he was a metal lather with E&F Construction for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving children, Jo-Ellen Grabowski and her husband Anthony of Monroe; Robert Topo and his wife Christine of Austin, TX; and Dennis Topo and his wife Kathy of Milford, thirteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Caroline Topo, and daughters, Deborah Outlaw and Robin Topo. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
