Obituary of Alfred L. Hoff

Owner and Operator of Alfa Tec Manufacturing Co. Alfred Leopold Hoff, age 87, loving husband of Ursula Elizabeth Carl Hoff, of Monroe, died on Saturday June 9, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on November 12, 1924 at Strachowo district of Ploehnen, Poland he was the son of the late Eduard and Huldu Ferchau Hoff. He served in the German Air Force from 1942-1946, moved to the United States of America in 1954, married his wife Ursula on October 1, 1955 and became a U. S. Citizen on November 14, 1960. Alfred was the owner and operator of Alfa Tec Manufacturing Co. and was a precision tool and die maker. In addition to his loving wife of 56 years, Ursula, survivors include a son, Peter Alfred Hoff and his wife Janet of Shelton; a daughter, Doris Hoff Heidel and her husband John of Milford; and three cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Peter and Julie Hoff; a sister Rosalie Regina Wellhausen of Germany and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in the Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
