Obituary of Frederick W. Heinsz

U.S. Navy Veteran Frederick W. Heinsz Jr., age 84, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Frances Lattanzi Heinsz, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at St. Josephs Manor. Born in Bridgeport on January 14, 1928, he was a son of the late Frederick W. Sr. and Florence Adams Heinsz and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Heinsz worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 25 years as a letter carrier. A member of the Knights of Columbus, Monsignor Murphy Council, he was an avid woodworker and enjoyed making furniture, tending to his vegetable garden, telling a good joke and playing Scrabble. He was pre-deceased by his son, Frederick W. Heinsz III, a brother, Charles Heinsz and a sister, Helen Heinsz. In addition to his devoted wife of 61 years, Frances, survivors include his beloved daughter, Elaine Prusasky and her husband, Michael of Trumbull, loving daughter-in-law, Linda Heinsz of Preston, a sister, Eleanor Todd of New Orleans, four grandchildren, Kelly OReilly and her husband Tim, Matthew Heinsz and Nikki DesRoches and Sarah and Lisa Prusasky, two great grandchildren, Ethan Heinsz and Kaylynn OReilly and as well as several nieces, nephews and loving brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
