Obituary of Carl R. Ferrarese

Avid Sportsman Carl R. Ferrarese Sr., age 60, of Southbury, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 of a massive coronary. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Johnson Ferrarese whom he married on April 26, 1980. Born in Bridgeport on May 9, 1952, he was a son of the late Nazzarine Fred and Angeline Pisano Ferrarese. He was currently employed with Stihl Inc. of Shelton in the Technical Support Dept. for over 12 years and previously worked at Hemlock Hardware of Fairfield for many years. Carl was an avid sportsman and lifelong member of the N.R.A. When he wasnt hunting or fishing he was teaching his grandson Johnny how to. He was a N.R.A. Certified Handgun Instructor, a State Certified Firearms and Bow Hunting Instructor, a N.R.A. & State Certified Range Safety Officer and a founder of the CT Sportsman with Disabilities Organization. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed and remembered by generations as a supportive and loving man. He was the devoted husband, of 32 years to Patricia, a loving father, to Tina Ferrarese-Kulesza, Carl Ferrarese Jr. and Sheri Ferrarese and an exceptional grandfather to Johnny Carl and Payton. He also leaves a brother, Frederick Ferrarese as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Terrance Ferrarese and a sister, Melody Ferrarese. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury, CT. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
