Obituary of Vincent R. DiMasi

U. S. Navy Veteran Vincent R. DiMasi, Sr., age 86, of Monroe and formerly of Stamford, beloved husband of the late Nancy Mancini DiMasi, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Connecticut Hospice Branford. Born in Port Chester, NY on December 31, 1925, he was a son of the late Leonard and Loretta DiPalma DiMasi. A U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was proud to have recently visited the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, DC with his son and grandson. A retired employee of Pitney Bowes, he was also formerly employed by Electrolux and Norma Hoffman/F.A.G. Bearings of Stamford. Survivors include a son, Vincent DiMasi, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Trumbull and a daughter, MaryAnn Deleppo and her husband Darrell of Hudson, MA, six grandchildren, Alisha, Derek and A.J. DiMasi and Michael, Matthew and Marc Deleppo, a sister-in-law, Janet Palladino of Trumbull as well as several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Anthony and a sister, Vivian. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with military honors will follow in St. John Cemetery, Darien. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
