Obituary of Aleksandar Davidovich

Aleksandar Davidovich, age 84 of Lancaster, Ma. passed away on Sunday, January 29 at the home of his daughter Susan, surrounded by his family. He was the loving and devoted husband of Oriana (Maquiera) Davidovich with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Belgrade Yugoslavia, the son of the late, Maria and Milutin Davidovich, he spent his childhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He resided in Lancaster, Massachusetts since 1982. Aleks dedicated his life to Gods work through ministering as a Pastor in several Seventh Day Adventist churches. His ministries took him to several cities in Argentina, Chile Peru, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Aleks loved adventure, traveling, working with wood, gardening and fixing whatever needed mending, whether it was faucets or hearts. To him, there was no problem that could not be fixed and his optimism was endless. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Oriana; his 5 children Maritza, George, Susan, Vivian and Aleksandar; their spouses George, Zori, Ed and David; grandchildren, George, Frederick, Charles, Carol, Enrique, Janelle, Nicole, Alex, Erika and Zachary; great grandchildren, Andreas, Kimberly, Kaelyn, Stella, Spencer, Samuel, Cole and Blake; and several nieces and nephews in Argentina. His love for God and his passion for serving others will be a source of continued inspiration to all who knew him. In his final hours, Aleks was at peace and comforted by his deep conviction that someday soon, we will all be reunited in Gods heavenly love. Funeral Information Visiting hours will be on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull followed by a service at 12:00 noon and burial. His final resting place will be at Nichols Farm Burial Ground on Shelton Rd., Trumbull, Ct.
