Obituary of Vincenzina Cusello

Devoted Mother Vincenzina Pontoriero Cusello, age 89, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Pasquale Cusello, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 31, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born on October 30, 1922 in San Calogero, Province of Catanzaro, Italy she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Eleanora Zinna Pontoriero. Mrs Cusello was a retired seamstress with 30 years of dedicated service for the former Ritz Fashion Design of Bridgeport. Her greatest joy in life was to have her family together for a special homemade dinner to share stories, laugh and enjoy the company of each other. She was dedicated to her family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include four loving children, Maria (Tina) Quick and her husband Albert of Monroe, Fortunato (Fred) Cusello and his wife Ardeth of Seymour, Francesco (Frank) Cusello of Bethany and Anthony (Tony)Cusello and his wife Amanda of Trumbull and, 14 grandchildren, Lisa Quick Driscoll and her husband Kieth, Kimberly Lee and her husband Paul, Jeannine Quick, Pasquale and Jason Cusello, Michael Cusello and Charmain, Jamie (James) Cusello, James, Brianna and Rebecca Onofrio, Kerry and Brendan Cusello, Shannon Cusello and her fiance Nick Feeney and AJ (Anthony James) Cusello, 10 great grandchildren, Zachary, Mason, Isabell, Ian, Brianna, Kylie, Madison, Owen, Gracie and Jacob. She also leaves six sisters, Fiorina Macaroni and her husband Oratzio, Domenica Mangone and her husband Migantoni, Maria Gulli and her husband Fortunato, Elena Cutri, Lydia Vallone and Valentina Calabria and her husband Micuccio all of Italy, a brother, Giuseppe Pontoriero and his wife Mirella of Bridgeport, a sister in law, Maria Concetta Pontoriero of Italy; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Totto and Vincenzo Pontoriero. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday April 3, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford.
