Obituary of Louise Chmura

Resident of Shelton Louise V. DeAndrea Chmura, age 79, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Henry T. Chmura, died peacefully on Monday July 16, 2012 in Griffin Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeport on August 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Sr. and Henrietta Ballerini DeAndrea. Along with her late husband, they operated the former Andreas Jewelers of Milford until 1996. After retiring from the jewelry business, Louise worked for 15 years as a purchasing manager at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center, Stratford. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Survivors include four loving children, Andrea Chmura of Morris CT, Scott Chmura and his wife Lerina of San Marcos, CA, Melanie Lynn Chmura DeAndrea of Shelton and Stephanie Ventimiglia and her husband Fabrizio of Derby, three cherished grandchildren, Brandon and Amanda Chmura and Luca Ventimiglia; a brother William DeAndrea Jr, sisters-in-law, Anna D. Chmura and Mary DeAndrea, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
