Obituary of Albert C. Cerino

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Albert C. Cerino, age 96, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Rose Aurora Cerino, died peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 1, 1916, he was a son of the late Guiseppe and Lucia Verderame Cerino and was a lifelong city resident. Mr. Cerino was a proud graduate of Warren Harding High School. He was the retired owner and operator of the Panama Inn for over 24 years. Survivors include two loving sons, Albert Cerino Jr. of Trumbull and William Cerino and his wife Marie of Old Saybrook, five grandchildren, Mark Cerino and his wife Debbie, Scott Cerino and his wife Lorraine, Todd Cerino, Carla Cerino and her husband Max Trentini and David Cerino and his wife Shayne, five great grandchildren, Eric, Elisabeth, Matthew, Noah and Marco as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was pre-deceased by daughter-in-law, Linda Cerino and five brothers and sisters, Anthony, Joseph, Florence, Antoinette and Rose. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
