Obituary of Charles J. Burout

Charles J. Burout, Jr., age 86, of Shelton, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Connecticut Hospice with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Angelina P. Cominelli Burout. Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Charles J. and Estelle Burout.

A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Charles later worked for the Moore Special Tool Co. formerly of Bridgeport, before retiring after 38 years of dedicated service. An avid fisherman, he was also an auto enthusiast. He was a talented man who could fix anything and do anything and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his beloved wife of 62 years, Angelina, survivors include his sons, Charles J. Burout III and his wife MaryAnn of Bedford, NH and Christopher J. Burout and his wife Colleen of Bennington, VT, three grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Christopher Burout, a sister Dolores Bosset of Newtown. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Alice Clarkson. 

Private family funeral services were conducted and burial was held in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
