Obituary of Henry M. Borowy

U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War

Henry M. Borowy, age 78, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Lillian Novak Borowy, died peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Born in Bridgeport on July 15, 1933, he was a son of the late Henry Borowy and Pauline Ruda Borowy. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a graduate of Bridgeport Engineering Institute. He was a retired engineer having worked at Avco Lycoming and Sikorsky Aircraft. In addition to his wife of 55 years, Lillian, survivors include three sons, Robert Borowy of Trumbull, Thomas Borowy and his wife Wendy of Oxford and John Borowy of Trumbull, six grandchildren, Melissa, Nicole, Ryan, Sean, Megan and Bridget Borowy, two brothers, Steven Borowy and his wife Arlene of Monroe and Thaddeus Borowy and his wife Lucille of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. At Mr. Borowys request, all funeral services were private. Burial took place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
