Obituary of Frank J. Riccio

Attorney Frank J. Riccio, age 70, beloved husband of Lorraine Kuruc Riccio, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on October 10, 1942, he was a son of the late John and Edna Altieri Riccio. In addition to his wife Lorraine of 42 years, survivors include a son, Attorney Frank J. Riccio II and his wife Judy Ann of Trumbull, a daughter, Carla D. Riccio of Bridgeport, two grandchildren, Ryan S. Riccio and Lauren E. Riccio. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins and nieces and nephews. Attorney Riccio had been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 1968 and the New York Bar since 1969. He was a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In 1995, he received his Board Certification as a Criminal Trial Lawyer from the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Frank was a lifelong member of the Mill River Country Club in Stratford, where he served as President from 1981-1984. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with friends and competing in tournaments, including winning the 1967 and 1983 Member Guest Tournaments. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
