Obituary of Lucy R. Bonazzo

Bridgeport Resident Lucy Iannarone Bonazzo, age 91, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late John Fred Bonazzo, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Carolton Chronic Convalescent Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on May 17, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Palazzo Iannarone. Mrs. Bonazzo graduated from Harding High School, class of 1937, attended the Butler Business School and worked for many years as an executive secretary for the Bullard Co. She was an avid New York Yankees and UCONN Womens basketball fan and was a member of the St. Charles Friendship Club. Survivors include her son, Vincent Bonazzo and his wife Caroline of Trumbull, a grandson, John Anthony Bonazzo and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Ralph Iannarone. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
