Obituary of Frederick Pierini

Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather Frederick A. Pierini, age 86, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Anita Carbone Pierini, died peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on April 26, 1926, he was the son of the late Romolo and Mary Bevilacqua Pierini. Mr. Pierini served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a B17 Tail Gunner in Europe. A retiree of Pitney Bowes, he was also formerly employed at Dictaphone. Fred was a member and former officer of the Marchegiana Club and also loved photography and time spent with his family. In addition to his beloved wife Anita of 60 years, survivors include a son, Michael Pierini of Bridgeport and a daughter, Pamela Kearns and her husband John of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Anthony Pierini and James and Dustin Kearns. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Pierini. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
