Obituary of Helen Bocchino

Beloved "Honey" Helen M. Bocchino, age 92, of Bridgeport, passed on to God peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in her home under the loving care of her three children. Born in Bridgeport, she is the daughter of the late Albino and Liberata Costanzo Corarito and Ralph Petti. She graduated from Warren Harding High School, class of 1939. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport except for a short time when she lived in Long Beach, CA, where she married her late husband of 40 years, Anthony Bocchino who was finishing military service there. She worked for the Remington Arms Company and later enjoyed 29 years of retirement. She loved and was devoted to her children, all of them, and is the original Honey of her family. She is pre-deceased by three brothers, Joseph, Patsy and Arthur Corarito, two sisters, Mary and Jennie (Corarito) Spinelli and sons-in-law, James Browning and Dominic Caramanica. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Elaine and her husband John Lynch of Shelton, Diane Caramanica of Milford and her son, Robert of Monroe, a sister-in-law, Marjorie Corarito of Hawaii, five grandchildren, Anthony, Michael and Patsy Caramanica and George and Dawn Browning, four great grandchildren, James, Joseph and Lia Mazzadra and Jessica Caramanica. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Mikan and his staff. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
