Obituary of Christopher Michael Naples

Christopher Michael Naples, 33, of Shelton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 28, 2026. Born in Bridgeport on August 29, 1992, he was a son Donald and Deborah Sabitsky Naples. The owner of Ancient Alchemy Jewelry Design, Chris was a gifted artist whose talent showed in everything he made. He loved sharing his beautifully crafted, custom jewelry, paintings, and countless pieces he made with the people around him. Creating art was one of his greatest joys.

It wasn't always about the money or fame for Chris. He truly had a vision for creating unique pieces and sharing them with all. As long as he had enough for "a burger and a beer", he was truly happy. It was the simple pleasures of life that Chris treasured. He had a heart that showed up for others. He was the friend who would listen to you and comfort you when in need, and the one filling family parties and holidays with laughter and joy when his presence was in the room. Chris adored being an uncle. He delighted in surprising his niece Salem with little toys and pieces of art he made for her and he leaves behind his newest niece, baby Summer, who will grow up hearing all about the uncle who couldn't wait to meet her. In addition to his beloved parents, Debbie and Don, survivors include his loving brother, Joseph Naples and his wife Nicole, two adored nieces, Salem and Summer, his grandfather, Stanley Sabitsky, his loving aunts, uncles, Pamela Texeira (Rui), Stanley Sabitsky Jr., Michale Sabitsky and Thomas Naples (Belinda), as well as many cousins and his best canine friends, Mochi and Oliver. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Pamela Sabitsky and Thomas and Elaine Naples.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
