Obituary of Linda A. Angelo

Linda (Possidento) Angelo, 67, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2026. Born on January 9, 1959, in Stamford, Connecticut, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dominick and Annette Possidento.

Linda was a devoted mother, mima (grandmother), sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the definition of selflessness, someone who would truly give the shirt off her back to help another, never asking for anything in return. Her caring nature, warm heart, and unwavering love for her family were the foundation of her life.

She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Angelo, and her cherished granddaughter, Mia Angelo. Linda was immensely proud of Michael and never missed an opportunity to share his accomplishments, especially his service in the United States Marine Corps. Her love for him was immeasurable. Mia was the shining light of her life, and Linda treasured every moment they spent together. Watching her granddaughter grow into the remarkable young person she has become brought Linda endless joy and pride.

Linda is also survived by her sister, Nancy John and her husband Bill; her brothers, Anthony Possidento and his wife Paulette, and Daniel Possidento and his wife Pamela; as well as her many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and a great-niece, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Family was everything to Linda. She loved gathering with those she loved most, celebrating holidays, and creating lasting memories together. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, including watching Hallmark movies, shopping, making a house sparkly clean, and spending time with family and friends.

An avid baker, Linda was especially known for her famous anisette cookies, a treasured tradition that brought smiles to countless family gatherings and celebrations.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and adoration of her family. Though her passing leaves a profound void, her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched through her kindness and selflessness. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love, strength, and devotion she gave so freely will remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with a prayer service taking place at 6:45 p.m. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
