Mass of Christian Burial
Obituary of Lucille M. Patane
Lucille M. Patane, age 87, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Lord Chamberlain surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Ronald C. Patane, Sr. Born in Bridgeport on December 13, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Pizzuto) Marranzino and was a longtime resident of Stratford.
Lucille, more than anything, loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughters. She also loved a glass of wine with dinner, telling the same old stories over and over, and trips to the casino, where she consistently came home a winner, defying the logic of the gambling industry. In life and in passing she lived by the words of her senior quote, “Always happy, always gay, she will go her own sweet way."
Survivors include a loving son, Ronald C. Patane, Jr. and his wife Ayumi, a brother, Daniel Marranzino and his wife Theresa, two cherished grandchildren, Nina and Nicola and her beloved longtime companion, Anthony Errico as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Phyllis Giannino a sister, Norma Marino and a brother, Alexander Marranzino.
All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. directly in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment will follow in Putney Oronoque Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in care of the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
