Obituary of Alice Puzzo

Mary Alice McCarthy Puzzo, age 89, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Patrick Puzzo, Sr. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada on March 21, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Lucille (McGilvery) McCarthy.

Alice retired from People's Bank as a Customer Service Representative after many years of dedicated service. She was devoted to her family and cherished every occasion she spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and was gifted at crocheting and was always happy to share her crafts with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her four loving children, Donald Patrick Puzzo Jr. and his wife Theresia, Mary Ann Bonacci and her husband Perseo, Pamela Jean Qaddourah and her husband Tariq and Kelly Puzzo, a brother, Eugene McCarthy and four cherished grandchildren, Christine Baldwin, and her husband Joseph, Lia Bonacci and her husband Thomas Capuano, Munir Qaddourah and Jad Qaddourah as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Mildred Hogan, Elizabeth Varholak, Linda Brown and Vivian McCarthy.

Relatives and friends can greet the family on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. All other services and burial will be held privately.
