Oh Mike! My cubicle neighbor, my friend, my work grandpa. You made me laugh every single day you came to work. You always had something funny to say. Your light hearted spirit made even the longest work days feel light. I will miss our endless debates about which one of us had more hair, being threatened with your baseball bat, and hearing you tell everyone I was your assistant. Thank you for taking me under your wing. I learned so much from you! You not only trained me to be a housing code inspector, but you went above and beyond. You taught me not to stress what’s out of my control, how to be smart with my money.. to name a few. Most importantly, you taught me how to have fun everyday on the job. Thank you for the impact you’ve had on me and on my career. You truly made a difference. May your soul rest in peace. You will forever live in my memory, my friend. With love, Your assistant
