Devere "Dee" Edward Logan

May 3, 1934 - April 16, 2026

Trumbull, CT - Devere "Dee" Edward Logan, a pillar of the Amateur Radio community and esteemed communications professional, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026. Dee was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan; an upbringing he always remembered fondly!

Dee is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary Elizabeth Logan; three sons, Scott Edward Logan and wife Helene, Christopher Alan Logan and wife Sandra, Kevin Stewart Logan and wife Maryellen; grandchildren Aaron, Andrew, and Laura Logan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jan Brown, of Bay City.

A Fellow of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Dee was a respected leader in his field, known for his expertise and dedication to public relations. He spent many years with the General Electric Company and finished his career with Parker Hannifin Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. 

His true passion, however, was Amateur Radio, where he made lasting contributions. Dee founded multiple ham radio clubs across the U.S., inspiring countless enthusiasts and fostering a sense of community.

A United States Army veteran, Dee brought his dedication to service to various aspects of his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Dee's memory. Funeral will be private.
