Obituary of Mary E. Treglia

Mary E. Tripolone Treglia, age 98, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Treglia. Born in Pleasantville, NY on March 29, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Carmelo and Carmelina (Sciuto) Tripolone. Mary moved to Connecticut with her husband and settled in Trumbull where they built the family home and raised their family. She was an extremely happy and positive person, and always had a smile on her face. She was kind to everyone and lived by forgiveness to all. Family was always a priority to Mary and she was so friendly, loving and caring to so many friends and relatives they considered her a second mom.     

Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Susan Treglia and Jane March and her husband John, a grandson, John March III, a granddaughter, Mary Jane March Flores and her husband Johnny and a cherished great granddaughter, Roxanne as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mae Moran and Linda Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 395 Anton Street., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
