Obituary of Jennifer M. Gillman
Jennifer Feola Gillman, age 51 of Newington, beloved wife of Larry Gillman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Maple View Manor with her loving family at her side. Born in Bridgeport on July 25, 1974, she was a daughter of Mafalda Rose (Silano) Feola and the late Rocco Feola and was a longtime resident of Trumbull before moving to Newington.
Jennifer was a graduate of both Trumbull High School and Central Connecticut State University where she received her bachelor's degree in psychology. She had a passion for teaching which led her to become a preschool teacher. For over 30 years she shaped and touched the lives of so many children. Whether it was pinecones, a bird's nest or bee hive, Jen was always looking for new and interesting items to add to her classroom to help educate her students. She enjoyed reading, crafting and baking and everyone will miss her famous cheese cakes; and loved her cats, Domino and Ziggy. Jen's true enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. She was dedicated to raising her daughters and was a devoted wife to Larry until her illness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends and those she touched.
In addition to her mother Mafalda, her devoted husband of 25 years, Larry, and her cherished daughters, Alexa and Emily, survivors include a loving sister, Roseanne Bosco and her husband Billy, and a loving brother, Anthony Feola and his wife Tricia as well as many nieces, nephews, a great nephew aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Feola.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. directly at St. Stephen's Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will take place privately.
