Obituary of Bryan D. Fowler
Bryan D. Fowler, 60, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on May 25, 1965, he was the son of the late Roger and Judith Tornillo Fowler.
Bryan was the proud owner and operator of Bryan Fowler Services, where he built a reputation not only for his craftsmanship, but for his integrity, work ethic, and dedication to helping others. Bryan was the true definition of a devoted family man and a skilled tradesman. A talented carpenter and natural problem-solver, he took immense pride in his work and in the home he built for his family.
Even after long, demanding days on the job, Bryan could always be found outside perfecting his yard, organizing his tools, maintaining his pool, and ensuring everything around him was cared for with precision and pride. His dedication was a reflection of the way he lived his life: fully invested, deeply committed, and always giving his all.
He had a deep love for animals, especially his dogs, Shadow, Jesse, Lady, Billy, and Benny, his loyal companions over the years. They were a constant source of comfort and joy, and their bond with him was unmistakable. Bryan was also a mentor and teacher to many.
He shared his knowledge of carpentry generously, most notably shaping the skills and career of those closest to him. He was known as a "Mr. Fix It" in every sense, someone who could build, repair, and guide with equal ease.
Above all, Bryan's greatest pride and joy were his children. He is survived by his loving son, Michael Fowler and his wife Chloe, and his beloved daughter, Amanda Fowler and her boyfriend Steve. He also leaves behind his former wife and dear friend, Karen Montanaro Fowler, along with many brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends, including the entire Broadway crew.
Bryan shared an unbreakable bond with his children. Michael was a reflection of him, someone he admired deeply and took great pride in, especially as he witnessed the man he became. One of Bryan's most treasured moments was being present for Michael's wedding, a memory his family will forever hold close. Amanda was his "boo," his pride and joy. He instilled in her strength, independence, and resilience, ensuring she would always stand confidently on her own. His legacy lives on in her grit, her determination, and her unwavering dedication, qualities he modeled every day of his life.
Bryan was predeceased by his sister, Jill Olayos, and his nephew, Jimmy Olayos. Though his journey in recent years was marked by challenges, Bryan remained a source of light and strength to those around him. His resilience, humor, and enduring spirit never faded. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace, free from suffering and reunited with his loved ones.
