Obituary of Paul F. Memoli

Paul F. Memoli, age 73, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by his beloved cats. Born in Bridgeport on March 7, 1953, he was the son of the late Angelo C. Memoli and Lucille (DeMarco) Memoli. Paul was a graduate of Trumbull High School and received a degree in Sociology from Southern Connecticut State College. He worked as a Housing Code Inspector for the City of Bridgeport and later worked with his father, Angelo, in real estate. Paul was an avid reader and a lover of books and film, and was a longtime advocate for cat rescue. He is survived by three loving siblings: David Memoli of Bridgeport; John Memoli of Alpharetta, Georgia; and Mary Memoli Gilbertson and her partner, Robert Ambrose Jr., of Trumbull. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Abbey, and Julia Memoli; Josh and Justin Gilbertson, and a great-nephew, John Angelo Gilbertson. Paul is also survived by his longtime companion, Carmona Draper of Bridgeport, as well as several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mark Alan Memoli. A Celebration of Paul's life will be held at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All family, immediate and extended are welcome.
