Obituary of Nancy Gallucci

Nancy (Spina) Gallucci, age 88, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Amedeo Gallucci, who had passed away in December of 2023. Born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Vincenza (Genovese) Spina. Nancy had worked in the banking industry for many years before her retirement and built many friendships along the way. Nancy loved music and also enjoyed knitting, playing bingo and would look forward to weekly Italian card games that she played with friends and family. More recently, she enjoyed using her tablet for various activities including paint by numbers. She was a woman of great faith and that faith guided her throughout her life as a longtime member of St. Margaret Shrine parish in Bridgeport. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving children, Adelio Gallucci and his wife Cindy of Berlin, Louis Gallucci of Bridgeport and Angela Vincenzi and her husband Perry of Shelton, her adored grandchildren, Christina Gallucci, Lauren Gallucci, Michael Gallucci, Giancarlo Vincenzi and his fiancee Yasmin Almazan, Perry Vincenzi and Nicole Gallucci, her sister-in-law, Maria Gallucci of Newtown, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will be held privately and there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489 (www.alz.org/ct).
