Obituary of Antoinette Petrucelli

Antoinette Granato Petrucelli, age 97 of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Henry Petrucelli, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026 in the comfort of her home with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Born in South Philadelphia, PA on May 30, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Maria Laudato Granato. A seamstress by trade, she retired from ILGWU, International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She held numerous part time jobs over the years, working at Napoli Deli in Milford where she loved the job and people. Antoinette was a kind hearted giving person, always helping those who needed it. She loved sewing outfits for her friends and family. Favorite past times were reading and crocheting and saying her rosary three times a day. She loved visiting her family in South Philly, especially during the summer, when she would stay with her sister in Wildwood for two weeks. The family would like to thank hospice, especially Brian, who was endearing to all. Survivors include her loving daughter Sharon Marini and her husband Mario, daughter-in-law, Donna Petrucelli, granddaughter, Lisa Durand, grandson, Rick Petrucelli and his wife Amy, great grandchildren, Sophia, Savanna, Aiden and Jonathan, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Richard Petrucelli, brothers, Jimmy, Ben and Bob Granato, sisters, Mary Nacchio, Rachel Pontarelli and Rita Tropea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa's Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull.
