My heart...my heart...first I would like to send my hugs, love and prayers to the family of Professor Ana Jusino. She was a beautiful light!!! One that I will never forget, ever.
I was a student, an older student, at NCC and was selected as a "Woman of Promise" During the program, one of the questions was "what will you be doing in 5 years" And out of the room she just exclaimed "I would like to know what THAT woman will be doing in 5 years" I responded, I hope to change the world! She said she would be watching, and she did.
My heart is a little sad, but happy that I had the opportunity to know her and for her to know me, and to have encouraged me. Thank you for sharing her. I will keep you all in my prayers. <3

Today I have mixed feelings. I'm saddened by the loss of a dear friend, yet confident that she is now with the Lord. A great friend and sister in faith. We enjoyed working together and guiding many young people on their paths of faith. She was one of my greatest mentors and godmothers in youth evangelism ministry. She taught me about balance and that we can have a healthy relationship between secular and religious life. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to her family and extended family.
Meche in peace rest

My dear Ana, I’m still in shock! You have always been a true friend since we met at the university! You were one of my bridesmaids. Our friendship continued through time with our husbands our kids and grandkids. You were the life of parties. We had many New Year’s we spent at your home with families and friends. In one of them Eddie asked Melanie to be his girlfriend. Oh and how we party, Yoli, Enid and …. Your kindness was so special knitting blankets for newborns, you made masks for everyone during Covid your heart was full with happiness, kindness, enjoyment, giving, sharing and all with your sincere heart! I will miss you! I know you’re in heaven with Jaime your soulmate. That’s what gives us comfort because you are in paradise now and someday we will meet again.♥️

Ana, my chosen sister, comadre, bestie! Since the day you married Jaime, we have shared every family milestone in our lives—our weddings, vacations, motherhood, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, endless pool celebrations, and our girl time with no schedule. You loved us deeply, and we loved you back fiercely. Most of all, you are a woman of faith and prayer. Through your example of dedication to your church, I can say I have become a better Christian. I will miss our Zoom rosary and novenas—you leave me with the most beautiful memories. I hope to continue to pray hard, dance hard, and celebrate life’s moments with joy. I can only do this if I carry you with me in my heart. We will meet again and honor your last request—“our cheers!” Thank you for being such a special part of my journey.

My aunt, Titi Mercedes—as we affectionately called her—was such a loving person with a big heart for her family. I will never forget her constant words of encouragement and unwavering support through every chapter of my life. She was my biggest cheerleader throughout my journey as a singer. I will deeply miss her gentle voice and her warm greetings at the start of every conversation.
I love you and miss you, Titi.

We are so sorry for your loss. She was an incredible woman. So happy that our families met each other and created such a wonderful friendship. I will never forget how Ana showed up for us the next day after our own loss. It meant (and still does) everything. I treasure that moment forever. May God comfort you all during this time. May He have welcomed her into his kingdom with open arms.

I will miss my Titi! I will miss our time together, and our phone conversations. I loved laughing with her. I will miss the sarcasm and the attitude. I will miss praying with her, for her, and the entire family. I will miss the love and support at different times. Soon and very soon the King of kings will return and I will be ready for that reunion. Never to part again. Never again to say see you later. Nothing is truly over until the last trumpet sounds. He holds the keys to the grave. Until Jesus returns! I love my family. See you soon!

Tony and I have been dear friends with Ana for almost 5 decades. Jaime and Tony worked together and became instant friends. The 4 of us had wonderful times together and when all our kids came along they became fast friends. We made great memories with Anna and Jaime, too numerous to mention. Anna will be sadly missed, but knowing she is in Heaven with Jaime warms our heart.

Dear Jaime and Kaity and all of Ana's dear family and friends, we send our condolences. Ana opened her doors and heart to us. She included us in her family celebrations, family milestones, and many parties and gatherings at her home. We enjoyed her smile, and wow could she dance! I loved hearing her stories of growing up in Puerto Rico--making coquito was no easy task back then, grinding the coconut by hand. We attended her loving prayer Novena for her beloved husband Jaime, who left her too soon. We ate her amazing food, her pulled pork and arroz con gandules, and toasted to our lives at happy hours with other neighbors in her kitchen. We will miss you. Your faith in God was remarkable, and may He hold you close. Love neighbors Sandy, Zachariah, and Darwin.
