My sincere condolences to the entire Carino family. I knew Eileen for over 10 years working with her at Griffin Hospital. Eileen was always a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. We had many laughs and good times as well. We celebrated everything and Eileen had a great sense of humor. I will personally miss not having the chance to pick up the phone and say hey Eye of the needle hows it goin. I dont say this alone when I say Eileen we all love you and will miss you dearly. Eileen was a devoted psychiatric nurse who dedicated her life to caring for those with mental illness with compassion, dignity and understanding. As a nurse leader at Griffin Hospital she welcomed students to her unit and worked with faculty in providing the best clinical experience. She was a holistic healer, kind, and a role model for others. She touched countless lives even when facing her own journey. I haven't seen Eileen for a couple of years and will always remember her sweet smile , her great sense of humor and dedication to her family and nursing. My heart goes out to Charlie, and her family. She will be missed.

I last saw Eileen this past summer on the golf course with her husband at Tashua Knolls Golf Course with her husband Charlie. It was always with her warm smile and greeting. I wish that I had gotten to know her better, and my thoughts are now focused on Chas and family. Good people pass with grace, dignity and love from all around.
