Obituary of Richard J. Chadrys

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Richard Chadrys of Trumbull, Connecticut, who entered eternal rest on February 11, 2026, at the age of 78.

Richard will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 38 years, Maria Chadrys; his daughter Linda Rogers and her husband, Phillip, along with their children, Landon and Makenzie; his daughter Anne Chadrys and her husband, Kenneth Coppola; and his brother, Jean-Marie Hadrys, and family.

Born on October 7, 1947, in Amnéville, France, to Stanislaw and Josephine Hadrys, Richard came to the United States at the age of 17 in pursuit of new opportunities. Through determination, integrity, and quiet strength, he built a life defined by hard work and kindness. He dedicated many years of his professional life to engineering in the plastics industry.

Richard was a devoted and loving husband. His marriage to Maria was a true partnership rooted in faith, commitment, and enduring love. Together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

He was a proud and loving father to Linda and Anne, offering guidance, wisdom, support and encouragement throughout their lives. His greatest joy was his family, and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Landon and Makenzie.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in the family he so dearly loved and in the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, Connecticut. Interment will be held privately.
