Peter loved his family above everything else and we were lucky to have experienced that firsthand. The warmth of the Del Franco household is/was unmatched. He was a genuine guy who always had a quick wit and a big smile. Unfair to be taken too soon. Our hearts break for Grace, Amara, Briana, Salvatore and his extended family.

I am truly heartbroken to hear this news. I will forever hold close how he made us feel every single time we were with him. He shared with us so many of our birthdays and special moments and each one felt warmer because of him. He was one in a million, with such a beautiful, genuine heart. Always making everyone feel welcome and at home. My deepest sympathy to the whole family. He will always be remembered and deeply missed by all of us who were blessed to know him.

We are still in disbelief. Once you were a friend of Peter's he took you in as family. He couldn't do enough for you. Every party at the restaurant, dinner at his home, holidays wherever, were days to remember and appreciate. Peter's heart was larger than life. He was at his best if his Gracie was nearby. Theirs was a love story to be envied. His passion for his family was endless. And they for him. Peter our dear friend- you will so greatly missed. .

I feel like our family grew up together through Peter and Grace at Avellino's. Every special moment we celebrated as family was celebrated there.
