Obituary of Michele Lynn Reilly

Michele Lynn Reilly passed away in her home after a short illness on February 4, 2026. She was 64 years old. Michele was born on October 24, 1961, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, alongside her beloved identical triplet sisters, Marea and Marlene, to Philomena and Nicholas Dolyak. From the very beginning, Michele's life was marked by deep family bonds and a joyful spirit that would define her for decades to come. Michele was a graduate of Trumbull High School and earned her Paralegal Degree from Sacred Heart University. She worked as a title searcher for the law firm of Owens, Shine Nicola and Donahue for many years before forming her own business, Advantage Title Services, in 2000. In September of 1993, Michele married the love of her life, Michael Donald Reilly. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter and welcomed their greatest joy, their son, Michael Mackenzie Reilly, in May of 1997. Michele was the life of any party. She celebrated all holidays with an unmatched flair and passion for decorating and entertaining; she was especially known for her legendary annual St. Patrick's Day party, which friends and family eagerly anticipated each year. A woman of many talents, Michele took great pleasure in cooking, baking, and testing out new recipes. She also had a particularly deep love of gardening, a hobby that reflected her nurturing spirit and love for beauty. Michele is predeceased by her father, Nicholas Dolyak, and her sister, Geraldine DeGenova. She is survived by her mother, Philomena Dolyak; her devoted husband, Michael D. Reilly; her cherished son, Michael Mackenzie Reilly; her sisters Marea Dolyak-Teare, Marlene Cox, Lynn Verrilli, and Toni Costa; her brothers-in-law Donald Cox, Mark Verrilli, Chris Costa, and Richard Degenova; as well as her many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nephews, all of whom she adored deeply. Michele will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her generous heart, and the joy she brought into every room she entered. Her love, laughter, and spirit will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
