Obituary of Kathleen M. Goncalves
Kathleen "Kathi" M. Noonan Goncalves, age 72, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Domingos "Dominick" J. Goncalves, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Born on April 6, 1953 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Lynagh Noonan. Kathleen was a retired receptionist for Ophthalmic Surgeons of Greater Bridgeport.
Kathi loved to travel, enjoyed spending time on the beach, was an avid reader and loved a good happy hour. She was also a Boston Red Sox fan.
But above all she was a dedicated and loving mother and nana. She treasured time spent with her family, especially her granddaughter. Kathi was looking forward to welcoming her new grandson to the family. The unconditional love she gave will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two loving daughters, Kayte Cwikla-Masas and Mary Beth Cwikla and her partner Daniel Franke, an adored granddaughter, Morgan Franke, a forthcoming grandson, Luke Franke, a brother, Thomas M. Noonan and his wife Christine, a sister, Sheila O'Connell and her husband Daniel, nieces and nephews, Maureen Service (Arron), Daniel O'Connell (Timothy Mathison), Kelly Noonan and Thomas M. Noonan II (Alexx), great nieces and nephews, Abigail, Braden, Caleb, Fiona and Finley, Vayda and Theo, her lifelong friends John and Jo Ann Gregor as well as many other dear friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a service at 12:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Smilow Cancer Center c/o Yale New Haven Hospital, Office of Development, P.O.
