Obituary of Rosemary Clark
Rosemary Clark, originally from Fairfield, passed away on December 22, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ. This past year she faced her illness with great courage, acceptance and an unwavering sense of hope. Rosemary was born on October 31, 1951 to Kathleen Ryan and Arthur A. Clark.
Rosemary loved life and was happiest when she was helping others. She received a BA and MA at Fairfield University and went on to serve as a bilingual teacher specializing in the care of children with learning disabilities. She loved to travel and lived and worked in Columbia and Costa Rica for many years where she taught English to teens, adults and Corporate executives. She returned to the states and settled in Arizona in 2007. She loved the Latino culture and spoke Spanish fluently. Rosemary had many friends who became her extended family wherever she lived.
Rosemary is predeceased by her parents and is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Clark and Ellen (Anthony) Bonacci, and brother Arthur (Coleen) Clark. In addition, Rosemary is survived by her nephews and nieces Michael, Karen, Ryan, Brian and Stephanie; great nephews Layne, Dylan and Wesley; and great niece Olivia.
Friends and family are invited to gather in memory of Rosemary on Saturday, February 28, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT. Interment will be held privately. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.abriola.com.
