Obituary of V. Mary Kelly

V. Mary Kelly, nee Horan, age 95, of Fairfield and formerly of White Plains, NY, beloved wife of the late Charles R. Kelly, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on September 15, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Horan. Mary and her family were decades-long parishioners of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in White Plains.

Mary is survived by the seven loving children she and Charlie raised: Dennis Kelly of Beaufort, NC, Dr. Brian Kelly of Great Falls, VA, Mary Alice Kelly of West Hollywood, CA, Dr. Terence Kelly of Ridgefield, CT, Christopher Kelly of Easton, CT, Deirdre Kelly-Andreoli of Easton, CT and Dr. Sean Kelly of Fairfield, CT, as well as nineteen adoring grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Entombment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Purnam Valley, NY.
